Description
- Brass
of hexagonal form with replacement hinged doors and domed terminal, each of the six sides decorated with an ogival medallion featuring a lotus blossom surrounded by openwork scrolls, calligraphic panels above and below, the dome decorated with a foliate openwork inscription, surmounted by a hinged hook for suspension, the later underside with three large open roundels and engraved designs
Condition
In fairly good condition, some replacement parts, possible restoration between top finial section and base, split to one of bottom calligraphic panels, some knocks and minor dents, interior with a little oxidisation, as viewed.
