the wooden body of domed circular form, the exterior painted in gold with black outlines and green and red highlights on a red ground featuring scenes of animals hunting, echoed along the border, with a central medallion featuring a face between four gilt-brass bosses with foliate openwork borders, the reverse with velvet and metal fittings
Condition
In fair condition, the surface worn with staining and rubbing resulting in missing areas of paint, the bosses scratched and oxidised, underside with stains, the velvet fittings to underside probably later replacements, as viewed.
