the steel blade fullered with swollen tip and gold-overlaid design near the chape, hilt with double grip and decorated throughout in koftgari with scrolls and leafy motifs, the wooden scabbard with old velvet cover, set with koftgari mounts decorated en-suite with large palmettes in the centre
Condition
Dagger is in good condition, with rubbing to gold-overlaid decoration consistent with age and use, the scabbard in fairly good condition, rubbing to surface with all the velvet now gone, except around the edges and sides completely missing revealing the wood, as viewed.
