In good condition, natural inclusions in jade, one fine hairline crack and one very minor chip near edge, as viewed.

Catalogue Note

This form is most probably derived from the chrysanthemum flower, a form often seen on Qing Dynasty carved jade bowls. A similar example is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, inv. no. 02.18.763, attributed to the Mughal or Qing court, eighteenth century.
