Overall the condition of the bronzes is good with minor dirt and wear to the surfaces consistent with age. There are some wax residues. One of the six candle holders is lost. The candlesticks were probably once on bases. There are two pins in the underside of the candlestick with bear sitting on the ground (to affix the candlestick to a base); the candlestick is therefore a little unstable on a flat surface (this could be easily and swiftly resolved by a conservator).
