Description

with a later top, the frieze carved with a shell and foliage, the reverse with later conforming carving, on shell-carved cabriole legs with claw and ball feet, restorations

Condition

The later top has split down the middle hence the batons to the underside. The rear rail is re-veneered with a later carved shell motif allowing the table to be used as a center table. All four legs with restored breaks above the feet. With old marks and scratches throughout with minor losses to the veneers commensurate with age and use.
