Condition

Overall the condition of the bronze is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are a few specks of dirt to the patina, including to the face and notably to the base. There is minor rubbing to the patina at some of the high points. There are a few minor scratches, including to the proper left cheek. There are a few splashes of white paint to the truncation at the back. The bust and the socle are cast separately. There are some very minor areas of greening, including to the back of the head and to the truncation at the back.
