- The pair: 94cm. high, 77cm. wide; 3ft. 1in., 2ft. 6¼in. The other: 71cm. high, 56cm. wide; 2ft. 4in., 1ft. 10in.
together with another frame with gadrooned moulding, 16th/17th century, each with later mirror plates
Condition
Pair of mirrors illustrated in catalogue:
Overall in reasonable conserved condition. Signs of old worm damage throughout which no longer appears to be active. Re-gilt over and earlier read painted ground which comes through. Mirror plate later. Very minor old marks and scratches, loses and chips commensurate with age. Very decorative.
Un-illustrated mirror:
Re-gilt and in good restored condition. Mirror plates later. Very decorative.
