Condition
Jester: Overall the condition of the wood is good, with some dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. The gilding is largely worn. There are several chips to the paintwork, exposing the gesso ground, including to the tips of the crown, the tip of the nose, the edges of the coat, the proper right knee, and the feet. The wood base is in good condition with minor wear, including a few nicks.
Saint Roch: Overall the condition is good, with some dirt and wear consistent with age. There are several losses to the polychromy, in particular to the mantle at the back and to the base. In some areas, including the face, flakes of one layer of polychromy remain, while the areas of loss appear to have been repainted. There are losses to the fingers of the proper right hand. There are remnants of a paper label to the underside.
Boy with Dog: The proper right arm is lost, and there are losses to the brim of the hat at the front and to the dog's snout. There is wear to the polychromy and there is some minor evidence of past worming. There is wear to the base, including chips. Otherwise the condition is good, with some dirt consistent with age.
