Condition
Overall the condition of the terracotta is good, with some dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is a hairline fissure running around the neck, probably as the result of the firing process, and some glue fill is visible in this area. There are a few minor chips around the fissure at the front. A joint is also visible where the bust joins the socle. There are various dirt marks including to the face and blue marks to the proper left side of the truncation at the front. There is some dark spotting to the proper right side of the head and neck. There are a few minor chips along the edges, notably one to the top of the socle at the front.
