Overall the condition of the bronze is good, with some dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is rubbing to the lacquer patina at the high points. There is a shallow layer of possibly moisture stains to the surface, in particular to the base, which cleans off easily. There is minor dryness to the patina in some of the crevices. The porphyry base is in good condition with several nicks and chips along the edges, consistent with age.
