Possibly the death of Louis XIV

Hinge mounted to a modern mount, with the four edges of the sheet covered. The sheet has yellowed somewhat and there is foxing throughout. The upper left corner (currently covered by the mount and not visible in the illustration) has a square shaped loss of paper. Although the sheet's edges are somewhat uneven the image itself remains strong.
