Description
- Porcelain
after Bertel Thorvaldsen (1770-1844) depicting Night and Day as winged classical figures, one with blue wave and dot mark, approx. 34.5cm., 13 5/8 in. diam..; together with a pair of Copenhagen plaques depicting Summer/ Youth and Autumn/Manhood from The 'Four Seasons and Four Ages of Life' series, impressed B.&G. Eneret marks, 28.6cm., 11 1/4 in. diam; and a small pair of gilt-bronze-framed French biscuit portrait plaques, of the Comtesse de Breteuil and Louise de France, signed Tumiez (?), 16.5cm., 6 1/2 in. diam.
Condition
All plaques are generally good condition and would benefit from a light clean.
One Bing and Grondhal plaque not examined out of frame.
