Joints sound and sturdy. Upholstery worn and with tears - notably to arms rests - and is lifting from the top rail. Will need changing. There are restored breaks to the top rail. The front legs have been re-blocked. Old marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Frame would benefit from a clean and wax according to taste.
Centre fauteuil
Joints sound and sturdy. Upholstery worn and with tears - notably to arms rests and cushion - and will need changing. Seat rails not inspected. Old marks and scratches consistent with age and use, with notable rubbing to the carved floral apron. Frame would benefit from a clean and wax according to taste. Rear seat rail indistinctly stamped 'Pothier'.
Right bergère
Overall in reasonable restored condition. Joints sound and sturdy. Upholstery worn and would benefit from a thorough clean or changing according to taste. Old marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Frame would benefit from a clean and wax according to taste.
