- fan: 18.5cm., 7 1/2 in ; frame: 51cm., 20 in long
the pierced mother-of-pearl sticks and guards picked out with gilt laurel garlands, the leaf painted with a central view of temples and figures in Antique style, indistinctly signed: G. Liotaoy [?], flanked by two altars en grisaille and gilt neoclassical ornaments on bright green, lavender, red and beige grounds, paste pivot, in a modern glazed gilt wood frame with green velvet and silk ground
