- gilt bronze and glass
- 6¾in
cast standing on a lotus pedestal, the arms held in vitarkamudra with stalks of lotus flower rising from the elbow, wearing a dhoti and a long celestial scarf, the head crowned by a five-leaf diadem in front of a high chignon
Condition
Sections of the celestial scarf may have been broken and restuck, with visible seams to the breaks. There are some minor dents and casting flaws. The base is sealed. The inlays may have been later replacements. General wear to the gilding.
