Description
- ivory, parcel-gilt bronze
- 12½in
the sheaf with compartments for two knives and a pair of chopsticks (now missing), each with ivory and parcel-gilt bronze mounts decorated with dragons
Condition
The inlays on the sheaf has minor losses and cracks, as consistent with age. The top and bottom ivory mounts have some areas of loss. The two knife blades with considerable rust deposits. One knife handle with a section of the ivory chipped and lost, and the parcel-gilt bronze end missing. The other with vertical age cracks running through the ivory.
