Catalogue Note

The arms are those of Orme impaling Bonsor for Malcolm Orme (b.1804) and his wife Jane (b.1805), daughter of Joseph Bonsor (1768-1835) of Polesden Lacy, Surrey. Subsequently Jane's brother Joseph Bonsor (1807-1873) married Malcolm Orme's sister Ezliabeth (d.1909). Their son Henry Cosmo Orme (1848-1929) was created a baronet.
