Condition
This work is in good condition overall. The paperboard is mounted on panel. There is some wear, minor abrasions, hairline cracking in the pigment and associated tears and pigment loss at the turning edges and corners of the paperboard. There is a 1 inch tear and associated pigment loss at the bottom right turning edge. There is light surface soiling and accretions in the top left, bottom left and center of the paperboard. Pale time staining and soft undulation to the paperboard is evident. There is vertical hairline craquelure in the upper left quadrant, approximately 8 inches from the left edge and 2 ½ inches from the top edge. Under Ultraviolet light inspection there is evidence of inpainting in this 2 inch craquelure section. There is light wear to the wood panel. Unframed.
