all with grapevine stems and arms, comprising: a large centerpiece with central glass bowl surrounded by six candle arms with detachable nozzles, with glass bowls to fit, by Macrae, 1863; a medium centerpiece with central glass bowl surrounded by three candle arms with detachable nozzles, by Elkington, 1870; and two smaller centerpieces with central glass bowls surrounded by three arms to take glass bowls (not present), by Macrae, 1869 and 1872, stamped GOLDSMITHS ALLIANCE / CORNHILL LONDON / LIMITED
Condition
all pieces lacquered and slight yellowing; as noted re. the missing glass bowls on the 2 smaller centerpieces; the medium centerpiece with branch broken off at top and needs to be reattached, and with some minor splits on a few grape clusters; minor chips to edges of the central cut-glass bowls on the largest and 2 smaller centerpiece bowls; otherwise good
