Condition

The canvas has been lined and is secure and stable. There are no damages or losses to the painted surface. A thick, discoloured varnish is visible. Inspection under ultra violet light reveals an opaque varnish and localised restorations around the hair and head. There are scattered retouchings throughout, which are uneven around the face details.
