Description
- porcelain
painted with shaped cartouches enclosing birds amongst foliage, all reserved on chrysanthemum sprays below broad lappets with further floral sprays, the domed cover similarly decorated and surmounted by a shi-shi finial

Condition
The jar is in good condition, the cover has a circa 14cm., section of the inner flange missing (not visible when placed on jar), a 2cm., rim hairline crack, a 3cm., shallow glaze flake to the rim and a small chip to the lower edge of the knop.
