Condition
The sheet cockles slightly and has discoloured with some spots of foxing.
Held under glass in a composite frame with a cream mount; unexamined out of frame.

Attached to the reverse of the work is a letter from Frederick Locker-Lampson to Lord Houghton dated '8th Aug', in which he offers Lord Houghton 'a little drawing by Miss Greenaway'. Locker-Lampson was a bibliophile and poet and a mentor to Kate Greenaway.
