This rug has a spacious field design incorporating light/warm colours and is generally in good condition. The pile is generally good and even, 2-4mm, there is a small area where the pile is down to knottheads in the mid right hand section. A minor area of loss to the knotted ends and minor wear to the kilim end at top. There is an area of abrash running from the lower quarter towards the end, approx.. 80cm. There are small shaped brown surface marks, examples on close inspection to the left of the central blue herati design. Another, smaller, above right and a further in the lower right hand quadrant. Of unusual size but is not reduced, this rug requires a thorough clean.
