comprising: seven silver toilet and pill boxes, different shapes and sizes, various markers, London and Sheffield, 1808 - 1916, one chased with Cupid, John Millward Banks, London, 1898, retailed by Tiffany & Co., London, one with Crewe-Milnes crests under an earl's coronet, one with inscription 'Given to Mary Higgins by Lord Rosebery / New Year Day/ 1902', another with monogram MR and dated 1884, some wood lined, 4cm., 1 5/8 in to 18cm., 7in wide ; a German parcel-gilt circular toilet box, Simon Rosenau, circa 1890, chased and embossed with turqueries within luxuriant vegetation, 10cm., 4 in.; two French silver powder boxes, maker's mark C [C]?, circa 1890-1900, oblong, the lid with enamel inscription 'Cadum'; two match box holders, one French, parcel-gilt with engine-turning, inscribed 'Xmas', 8cm., 3 1/4 in wide, the other, Stokes & Ireland Ltd, Chester, 1903, with gold and silver paillons on purple enamel and wavy engine-turned ground, 7.5cm., 3 in. wide; and a small silver flower vase, Walker & Hall, Birmingham, 1926
