- lacquer and metal
each of canted rectangular form, the interior gilt with figures amongst pavilions in a mountainous landscape, all supported by a mythical beast, later added English stands
Condition
The bases were added later. Both with general surface wear, minor lacquer flakes, age cracks, rubbing to the gilding and light scratches. One with one corner of the tray broken and restuck. There are at least two corners of the tray with age crack. The upper portion of the stand had been broken and repaired. The other tray with one corner cracked, with associated minor chips.
