the panelled hinged top inlaid with geometric bands and a chessboard, the corners applied with engraved and pierced gilt-brass mounts and with a conforming hasp, enclosing an interior inlaid for games for backgammon together with a pressed set of counters and a composite set of stained ivory and plain ivory turned chess pieces, variations to accessories

Condition

Top faded and with age cracks. Gilt-brass tarnished and warped.
