after the model by J.J. Kändler, naturalistically modelled wearing a gilt collar and lying on a rectangular cushion painted with flower sprigs and edged in gilt moulded brocade and with a tassel at each corner, blue crossed swords mark, rubbed inscription to base,
Condition
One corner has been repaired, secured with 8 rivets, the dog's front left leg has been repaired, associated with this damage to the corner. Scattered minor chips along edge of model, one toe on front left paw chipped, left ear chipped, hairline crack to body of dog
