two of square form, one with blue enamelled lid, another American, with cream shagreen lid and initial M, stamped: Made in USA / Patent 1802796, the third example, probably Cohen & Charles, London, 1935, rectangular, double-opening to reveal a cigarette compartment, the lid applied with paste wreath, from 4.6cm., 1 7/8 in. to 8.5cm., 3 3/8 in. ; and a French jewelled enamel, silver-gilt and glass bonbonnière, maker's mark ST, Paris, circa 1900, the lid with St George and the dragon, 5cm., 2in.; and a metal magnifying glass, pierced stem, 9.5cm., 3 3/4 in.
