  • 24.5cm., 9 5/8 in. wide
in late 17th Century style, canted rectangular, cast bifurcated feet, the cover engraved with a vacant ribbon-tied plume cartouche, the interior with detachable dark blue velvet lining

Wedding presents, 6 March 1953, 'silver-gilt jewel casket, removable lining on 4 feet, cut corners, emgraved device on lid. Name unknown.'

Condition

marks and condition reasonable, but the gilding is a little worn and the lid and upper rim are bent
