- Four objects of vertu, 19th century
- silver, enamel, malachite, glass, metal
comprising: an oval polychrome enamel plaque depicting a figure by a lake, picked out in gilt, probably Augsburg, circa 1760, mounted in a gilt-metal brooch, 5cm., 2in.; a hexagonal malachite box, circa 1900, 6.3cm., 2 1/2 in.; a French circular silver and green enamel pill box, maker's mark JF, Paris, circa 1900, with flower garlands and gilt frieze, 5cm., 2 in.; and a circular gilt-metal and yellow glass pill box, circa 1900, 5.2cm., 2 in.
Condition
1. some losses to enamel and gilt decoration
2. large chip to enamel on base
3. chip to one corner, a few other chips overall
4. overall good condition
