  • pearl, gold, diamonds,
comprising: two examples, English, circa 1840, with flutes and bulbous scrolling borders, one with amethyst matrix engraved with a cat and 'Mew', with handwritten note: given to maj. Crewe by Lady Summerwell many years ago, the other, stamped: S. Mordan & Co - makers and patenter', 9.3cm., 3 5/8 in.; the third, Garrard & Co, London, plain gold, engraved: Good luck in the New Century / Mentmore/ January 1st 1901, stamped: R&S Garrard & Co, 25 Haymarket, 9cm, 3 1/2 in., in its original silk case; the last example, a pen holder, French, applied with a question mark in rose diamonds and rubies, surmounted by a pearl, 15cm., 6 in long, in  case for Carrington & Co, casemaker’s stamp K for Carl Jacob Kitz

Condition

overall good condition and very charming, the first two examples would benefit from professional cleaning. the last example, fragile and with minor dents commensurate with use.
