printed in blue with the Crewe-Milne monogram under a Marquess's coronet, comprising 3 large oval tureens, covers and stands, 8 sauce tureens and 9 covers, 2 circular tureens, 2 low oval tureens and covers, 13 oval tureen covers, 5 oval dishes in three sizes, 30 soup plates, 28 kidney shaped dishes, 121 plates
Condition
Throughout the service there are several pieces which are affected by glaze crazing.
Kidney-shaped dishes - 1 has a hairline crack, another is chipped.
All the sauce tureens are chipped.
1 large oval tureen has a hairline crack, another is chipped, all three stands are cracked.
1 circular tureen is chipped, both are lacking their covers.
Of the 13 oval tureens, 5 have chips.
Both low oval tureens have a section of the rim missing
All the oval dishes have damage.
Of the soup plates, 5 have chips, 1 is cracked
Of the plates, 9 have chips, 7 are cracked.
