comprising: four bags including a red leather evening hand bag with gilt-metal mounts, with mirror and compact, gilt initials MR for Mary Roxburghe below a ducal coronet, and a purple leather wallet, J.C. Vickery, signed Mary in facsimile with a duke's coronet; two silver and gold-mounted leather wallets, the gold example German; a black leather brief case with Mary Roxburghe's initials; two blue leather travelling writing sets; one crocodile and one black fabric examples, two with Mary Roxburghe's cipher, the crocodile set containing ivory implements; a red leather stationery case, Joseph Bramah, with cipher; and a red leather travelling companion, gilt-stamped: Europe with ease containing a map of Europe and four small dictionaries
Condition
overall good condition but some have been used and worn by Mary Roxburghe. Would strongly recommend viewing before the auction.
