Description

- 70.5cm. high, 138cm. wide, 56cm. deep; 2ft. 3¾in., 4ft. 6in., 1ft. 10in.
with a panelled lid above guilloche carved frieze over four arcaded panels and inlaid in bog oak 'E.M.'
Condition
Raised on later block feet. Generally stable and ready to place but should be checked to ensure worm is not active. Restored break to top. Damaged and replaced section of timber to top and lock site. Losses to decoration and moulding. Age cracks to panels. Despite this wear (consistent with age and use) the piece is atmospheric and has great charm.
