Designed as a bird, set with a cushion-shaped diamond of brown tint, accented with cushion-shaped and cabochon rubies, cushion-shaped sapphires and diamonds and step-cut emeralds, later brooch fitting.

Mounted in silver and gold. Signs of rhodium plating. Diamond light brown, measuring approximately 8.7 x 7.7 x 5.8mm, weighing approximately 3.00 carats, heavily included. Rubies of purplish red, sapphires of dark blue, emeralds of light green, typical inclusions visible under magnification. Wings move slightly. Later pin fitting, secure clasp. Abrasions and tarnishing to mount consistent with wear. In good condition.
