Designed as a pendant set with an oval amethyst, inlayed with a rose diamond monogram for Queen Alexandra, the frame decorated with green and white enamel and circular-cut diamonds, later pendant bail and chain necklace, length approximately 610mm, fitted case stamped Collingwood & Co.

Accompanied by a letter from Collingwood & Company stating that the pendant was originally a trinket box, purchased as a gift by Queen Alexandra on 16th October 1905.
