The highly flexible openwork design composed of geometric links, set with five round and cushion-cut rubies weighing approximately 15.50 carats, accented by baguette and old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 13.15 carats, length 7½ inches, numbered 03319, with French assay and workshop marks.

Condition

In good condition with minor wear visible under magnification. The rubies are a medium deep slightly purplish red, moderately to heavily included with several exhibiting surface reaching inclusions and cavities, as well as abrading to the facet junctions visible under magnification. The central ruby has a large cavity on the pavilion. The diamonds are approximately F-H color, VS-SI clarity. Fitted with later added safety chain. With French assay and workshop mark, possibly for Charles Holl, numbered 03319. Accompanied by SSEF report no. 48697 dated May 16, 2007 stating that the rubies are of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating.
