Comprising a clip-brooch, ring and pair of earclips; the clip-brooch of stylized floral design, set with baguette and marquise-shaped diamonds weighing approximately 5.50 carats, accented by round rubies, signed Cartier, Paris, indistinctly numbered, with French assay and maker's marks; the boule ring set on one side with round diamonds weighing approximately 5.75 carats, and on the other side with round rubies, size 6, signed Cartier, Paris, indistinctly numbered, with French assay and maker's marks; the ribbon scroll earclips set with round and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 3.70 carats, accented by round rubies, signed Cartier, Paris, indistinctly numbered, with French assay and maker's marks; circa 1955. All within a case signed 'Cartier, Paris, London, New York.'

Condition

All pieces in good condition. BROOCH: Rubies a richly saturated medium pinkish red to medium-deep red; lightly included. Diamonds approximately F-G color, VVS-VS clarity. Numbered 35761, the first number partially legible. Approximately 2 1/4 x 1 1/8 inches. RING: Rubies a lively, medium pinkish red to medium-deep red; lightly to moderately included with one stone chipped, visible under magnification. Diamonds approximately F-G color, VVS-VS clarity. Numbering slightly illegible, probably 08823. EARCLIPS: Rubies medium-deep purplish red; lightly included. Diamonds approximately F-G color, VVS-VS clarity. Approximately 1 1/4 inches. Partially legible numbering, possibly 25782. Accompanied by a copy of a Cartier invoice dated 1955.
