The necklace composed of 25 cultured pearls measuring approximately 18.0 to 16.0 mm, completed by a clasp in the form of a blue topaz butterfly, accented by round diamonds weighing approximately 3.75 carats, length 18 inches, the clasp signed Paspaley; the butterfly detaches for wear as a brooch; together with one loose cultured pearl to take the place of the butterfly when detached; the earclips supporting two cultured pearls measuring approximately 12.0 to 11.0 mm, the tops with round diamonds weighing approximately .40 carat, signed Autore. With three boxes stamped Paspaley.
Condition
In very good condition. The pearls to the necklace are round with a silvery white hue, strong overtones of pink, blue and green, very good luster and virtually no blemishing. Very well-matched in color and quality, and nicely graduated in size. The clasp, which can be detached and also worn as a brooch, is composed of platinum with 4 segments of blue topaz which are eye-clean. The diamonds below the butterfly weigh a total of approximately 3.75 carats and are approximately E-F color, VVS clarity. The pearls in the earrings are ovoid in shape, of similar color to those in the necklace and are of good luster, with minute blemishing. The diamonds set in the earrings are approximately F-G color and VVS clarity. Length of earrings approximately 7/8 of an inch. Accompanied by two certificates of authenticity from Paspaley Pearls (one for the strand of pearls and one for the earrings).
