Condition
The presentation box bears the number 112131 and thus does not match this watch.
Movement running at time of cataloging, however not tested for the accuracy of time and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Case in fair condition, wear to the edges and engine turning. The cuvette is slightly bent, however closes correctly. Light scratches overall, the hinge to the bezel with one edge worn away. Dial in good condition with light wear, some spotting, no visible hairlines. Movement in good condition with some spotting, small pitting, and some loss of finish.

Watches made for Gondolo are characterized by movements bearing cam-wheel regulators and 9k gold gear train&nbs💎p;wheels. The central bridge of these Gondolo watches is frequently engraved '🌟Pat. Jan 13, 1891', which refers to the American patent for this type of wheel-train bridge.
