• 23’’’ gilt cylinder movement, two barrels for time and music, sur plateau revolving music plate with teeth in a fan shape, two hammers repeating on two gongs • gold engraved dial, Arabic numerals against white enamel cartouches, outer white enamel minute track, centered by a polychrome enamel classical lakeside scene with a harpist in the foreground with restoration • case back engine turned with a blank cartouche, reeded case band, music slide at 8 o’clock, repeat lock slide at 1 o’clock, repeat activated by depressing the bow, gilt metal cuvette • case and plate with maker’s mark P&M for Piguet & Meylan

Condition

Movement running at time of cataloging, however not tested for the accuracy of time and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Chiming in phase. Music functions. Case in fair condition, some denting to the case band and edges of bezels overall, dents to the area with hinges, case back engine turning in very good condition. Dial with enamel scene restored, hard edges to the enamel, patina to the dial overall. Movement with scratches.
