Ref. 5100 was produced as a limited edition in 2000 and was aptly named the Millennium. Its flared rectangular s🐠hape is inspired by the 1950s Ref. 2554, the 'Manta Ray'.  After the production of the Ref. 5100 was complete, Patek Philippe destroyed all necessary tools and materials used to produce the Ref. 5100.
