Condition
Movement running at time of cataloging, however not tested for the accuracy of time and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Case in very good condition with wear and some scuffing consistent with age and use. Scratches to the case back. Thinning to the bottom right lug. Dial in very good condition, spots at 9 and 7 o'clock near the arbor. Dial cleaned, indexes oxidized and with some index holes for the feet visible. Later Calatrava cross service crown. Movement with some scratches and loss of finish.
The present lot contains endangered species which is subject to restrictions upon international export. Accordingly, the strap for this item will be removed prior to shipment outside the United States.

Catalogue Note
Accompanied by an Extract from the Archives confirming date of sale with Breguet numerals on July 26, 1927.
This model was produced from 1926 until the early 1930s. Typically, their cases are yellow gold and platinum, whereas the present example is in yellow and white gold. Considered an oversized watch for the period, approximately 📖15 such pieces are known to have been offered at auction.
