Condition

Please be advised that bands made of materials derived from endangered or otherwise protected species (i.e. alligator and crocodile) are not sold with the watches and are for display purposes only. We reserve the right to remove these bands prior to shipping. Please note that the present lot is being offered in its original factory seal. Because the strap must be removed in order for the watch to be shipped out of the United States, the factory seal will need to be broken. Buyers should be aware that breaking the seal may cause the lot to decrease in value.
"In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above. All dimensions in catalogue descriptions are approximate. Condition reports may not specify mechanical replacements or imperfections to the movement, case, dial, pendulum, separate base(s) or dome. Watches in water-resistant cases have been opened to examine movements but no warranties are made that the watches are currently water-resistant. Please note that we do not guarantee the authenticity of any individual component parts, such as wheels, hands, crowns, crystals, screws, bracelets and leather bands, since subsequent repairs and restoration work may have resulted in the replacement of original parts. Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report. Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a Certificate of Origin confirming sale in 2013, instructions, booklets, two leather folder, tag, presentation case and outer packaging.

Reference 5013 was launched in 1992 and was discontinued in 2011. It was the first wristwatch to combine an automatic movement with minute repeater, retrograde date and༺ perpetual calendar. Until 2004 with the introduction of the 5016, the 5013 was the most complicated wristwatch offered by Patek Philippe in a series. The movement is composed of 515 individual parts; the present lot, made in 2011, bears the PP seal.

The present lot is cased in white gold. According to our research, there were 6 examples of the 5013 made in white꧂ gold, and the present lot is the second example in that metal to appear at auction. It is being offered still sealed from the factory and𒈔 unused.
