- A FINE ENAMEL AND DIAMOND-SET MINUTE REPEATING DESK TIMEPIECE WITH 'BONS SOUHAITS' DIALCIRCA 1910

• gilt brass movement, platform escapement, bi-metallic compensation balance, repeating on two gongs, white enamel dial, pierced hands, the hour markers spelling out 'Bons Souhaits' (Good Wishes), seed pearl-set border • guilloché rectangular case overlaid with transparent purple enamel, the borders in opaque white enamel, the sides centered by diamond-set medallions, the top centered by a diamond-set applied monogram 'AN', cabochon repeating pusher, all surmounted upon a guilloché base overlaid with translucent grey-blue enamel, ivory baseplate • dial and case signed, case with hand-stamped reference numbers, movement signed Nocture
Condition
With a key. The movement is running at the time of cataloguing, and chiming, however the hours are out of phase and will require adjustment. The purple enamel bears some light surface scuffs, with one on the left panel more apparent, but overall is in good order. The white enamel is similarly in overall good order.
The movement is numbered 1915 and what appears to read 30225.
The ivory base plate is signed Cartier and numbered 2032.
