Executed on board mounted on canvas. The board is sound. There are small areas of craquelure scattered throughout the composition. The surface bears a lovely textured impasto which is well preserved. Under UV light a layer of varnish is somewhat difficult to read through, but no inpainting is apparent. This work is in very good condition.
