Wear, accretion, staining and chipping overall. Scattered areas of loss to deities and figures at upper register. Scattered areas of loss central figures' faces, headdress, ritual implements, and extremities, as viewed. Possible re-carving of eyes on both central figures. Hairline fracture around the neck of the female, possibly reattached. Presence of filler on reverse and scattered hairline fractures indicate that the sculpture may have had multiple previous fractures and later consolidation.
