Catalogue Note
The nimbated Maharana Jagat Singh II of Udaipur (r. 1734 - 1751) seated against a large vermillion-colored bolster on a floral carpet, formally offers a paan to his respectful sardar Baba Bakhat Singh the son of Takhat Singh. A garland and a talwar set out before them. Against a flattened moss-green background. Rhomboid-shaped flower beds and a water tank geometrically displayed at the bottom.
