Catalogue Note
The aged nobleman Megh Singh seated against a large black floral-patterned bolster puffing from the long stem of his hookah while holding his falcon tethered to his gloved right hand. His other hand leaning on a cushion behind him. He stares intently forward. His raptor leans slightly back - looking upward scanning the skies for prey. Megh Singh sits cross-legged with bared feet on a brilliant floral-patterned vermillion and yellow rug - his sheathed talwar (sword) laid out in front of him. A hint of blue sky above.
